Martin Marietta Completes Acquisition of Aggregates Operations from Affiliates of Blue Water Industries LLC and Announces First-Quarter 2024 Earnings Conference Call

Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. (NYSE: MLM) (Martin Marietta or the Company) today announced that, on April 5, 2024, it completed its previously announced acquisition of 20 active aggregates operations in Alabama, South Carolina, South Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia from affiliates of Blue Water Industries LLC (BWI Southeast) for $2.05 billion in cash. This portfolio optimizing transaction improves the Company’s product mix, margin profile and durability through economic cycles by adding another pure aggregates business to its already aggregates-led portfolio.

ServiceMaster CDR is pleased to announce that is has completed its strategic acquisition of ServiceMaster by Lewis. ServiceMaster by Lewis has 13 licenses throughout Ohio in key markets such as Youngstown, Akron, and Mentor. VantEdge Partners, LP (“VantEdge”) has announced that Allstar Services (“Allstar”) has been acquired by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (“MSCP”), part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Allstar is a full-service provider of residential exterior services including the installation, repair and maintenance of roofing, siding, windows, decks, and gutters. Over the course of its 44 years of operations, Allstar has grown through geographic and service expansion as well as strategic acquisitions. Today Allstar is a leading regional platform serving markets in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Colorado. VantEdge co-led the initial acquisition of Allstar in 2019 with a subsidiary investment company of JE Dunn Construction.

Overland Park Equity Firm Buys Stake in Hawaii’s Second-Largest Brewery

Overland Park-based private equity firm VantEdge Partners LP was part of a group that acquired the Hawaiian arm of Kona Brewing Co. for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 1994, Kona Brewing Co. is the second-largest brewery in Hawaii, controlling 11% of the state’s beer market by volume. Kona was owned by Craft Brew Alliance, based in Portland, Ore.
